Rutland Water Week Ending 28th April 2024

Rod Average - 5.0

The weather last week was cold and rain at times but anglers who ventured out on the boat found fish in Church Bay, Newzeland Point to Berrybutts, Old Hall and Hambleton Wood. Fish are still close to the shoreline and emergers worked along with buzzers and nymphs on floating lines and as did lures on various sinking lines.

Bank wise, Stockie Bay and Sykes Lane had the most attention from anglers. Even with the low temperatures we did have some small buzzer hatches and Small dries and buzzers caught along with shrimp patterns fished on a floating line.

Total stocking for the season 32,000.
