A tough week at Pitsford with the warm weather at times pushing the water temperature up over 20 degrees. We have however, stocked an additional 15100 rainbows in the main basin. With the warm weather set to continue for the rest of this week we'd recommend early morning or late evening bank sessions using dries such as hares ears, or even trying sedge or big reds.
Boat wise, it pays to keep moving, the bank may be a strong tactic as the conditions will force the fish onwards, although don't rule out dries if conditions are right, focusing around emerging weed beds or wind lanes.
Lastly the the aerators are always worth targeting in the hot weather.
